By using a standard header, menu and footer, your site becomes much easier to update and maintain. See how it works... (large file, please wait)
- You'll see that we recycle the (1) Header, (2) Menu and (4) Footer; while the (3) Content changes.
- Don't worry that the site won't be dynamic... the menu can change with each section, yet we still make use of the same block of code that IS the menu.
- Need a custom header on certain pages? Not a problem, since our sites are self aware (IE: they know what page they are displaying), we can have any part of the site be custom to that section or even a single, specific page.
ChaliceAntiques.com is a database driven website. 3 top level categories are used to guide the 'surfer' into the site; then, each category is broken down to an unlimited number of sub-categories and micro-categories. This allows for the most exposure of the entire inventory, yet makes finding what you want EASY. Even the contact form is Self Aware; clicking on contact from an individual product puts that item in the form for the 'surfer' to ask for more information.

Using an ADMIN control panel, the client can add/delete/mark sold/edit the content of the site. This client can maintain and update the site as they choose, when they choose, at no additional costs. The control panel is theirs and there is no monthy/annual fee for maintenance.
SPECIAL FEATURE:
Now the client can enter a password and edit the site from the control panel or while surfing the pages like everyone else. They will see additonal buttons within the pages that allow them to edit the site.
